Well good. I’m glad you are taking the necessary steps to continue on living, it shows just how strong you are. so good call on going to the doc, calling the police, and reaching out to someone(s) for support...most victims just suppress ALL their pain and emotion(almost as if they no longer enjoy/care about life), and want revenge, or become really depressed and those two options aren’t what I see in you. You’re strong, and determined. And consider that your armor/support/protection/shield/defense mechanism...whatever u want to call it, it’s the thing that will help you survive best in life when put in situations like this. Just know that you are indeed a victim, we know this. But don’t get stuck in the victims roll. You have to now just put it behind you, I know it’s hard, but you can do it. You are still alive, and by the grace of God, I know you will still be healthy (if it is in his will)...but just keep moving forward. keep staying strong like you are doing...I cant, however, give you any advice to stop the tears forever, because emotions are something that only the individual can ULTIMATLY conquer, and tame.. But I will give you this."“You don't necessarily have to be in love with this weather to get through it well. It's about attitude. Instead of seeing a gray sky and thinking gray equals bleak and sad and depressing, try something else. Try, when the skies are gray, there's a somber beauty to the landscape. Put a positive spin on it. Confront the dark parts of yourself, and work to banish them with illumination and forgiveness. Your willingness to wrestle with your demons will cause your angels to sing. Use the pain as fuel, as a reminder of your strength.”
